Chris has been practicing law in the tri-county area for over 20 years. While Chris’ knowledge of the law is notable among his peers, he knows the practice of law is really about dealing with and helping people. He brings common sense and a friendly demeanor to all his cases. Chris’ approach has him being regularly appointed by the court to represent children in high conflict divorce and custody cases.
Chris is involved in many legal organizations including, Multnomah County Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association and the Oregon State Bar. Chris graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1999 where he was elected to the student bar association. He graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1995. He was elected vice president of the student body and president of his fraternity. He also received a leadership scholarship.
When not at work, Chris enjoys time with his family and friends, weight training, mountain biking and making homemade wine.

Jami Johnson has been with Burnett Law since January of 2016. Jami has an AAS degree with a paralegal certification. Jami brings 15+ years of experience. Jami has experience in family law, estate planning, commercial & civil litigation, as well as, corporate transactions.
Jami enjoys volunteering time to ClifProject and Habitat of Humanity. In her spare time, you can find her curled up with a good cup of coffee and a good book, spending time with her 3 children, attending her daughter’s soccer games, and long road trips.
